About Natalie Evans
Natalie Evans is a native of the Outer Banks of North Carolina and a graduate of Manteo High School. She is licensed to practice law in both North Carolina and Hawai’i. Natalie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Juris Doctorate at Pennsylvania State University’s Dickinson School of Law. While at Penn State, Natalie served as Admissions Editor for the Environmental Law Review.
Natalie’s practice has mainly focused on criminal defense. She has zealously advocated for hundreds of clients through her work at the First Judicial District’s Public Defender’s Office. Natalie has extensive trial experience and has represented clients on misdemeanors, felonies, traffic infractions, probation violations, and bond hearings. She has worked with clients facing substance abuse and mental health issues and has also represented juveniles. Natalie has represented parents in abuse, neglect, and dependency hearings. She is known by her clients to be thorough, trustworthy, and driven by a desire to be of service, solve problems, and help her clients navigate the criminal justice system.
An active member of the Outer Banks community, with deep family ties to the area, Natalie serves on the Board for OBX Room in the Inn, an organization that provides hospitality, food, shelter, and support to the homeless and unhoused population of the Outer Banks. In April 2024, Natalie chaired Room in the Inn’s first large community fundraising event at the iconic Kitty Hawk Pier, which raised over $35,000. In her spare time, Natalie regularly practices yoga and enjoys fishing, spending time with her dog Henry, and exploring the beautiful beaches and woods of the Outer Banks.
